Springsteen at Honda Center, Tue 4/08 + Morello video
No offense to Springsteen and the band, who put on a great show, but the best part of Tuesday’s concert in Anaheim, Calif., was in the first row behind the stage. Two girls in their 20s — a brunette wearing a long-sleeve white shirt, and a blonde in a black tanktop — spent the entire 2.5 hours dancing, jumping and rocking out. The brunette, who moved in perfect rhythm to every song (the sign of a true fan), was especially fun to watch. The camera crew finally noticed them toward the end, briefly flashing their image onto the big screens during “Dancing in the Dark.”
